EXCITE Project
An Interagency Agreement with the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are funding the Cooperative Extension System to address health disparities among rural and other underserved communities. This initiative is called the Extension Collaborative on Immunization Teaching & Engagement (EXCITE).
The University of Delaware‘s effort is providing education about vaccines and decreasing vaccine hesitancy to Haitian leaders and state health officials, to increase health materials available for Haitian communities throughout the state.
The Vaccine Education Center
Parents PACK (Processing, Accessing and Communicating Knowledge about vaccines) was established by the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to develop a dialogue with families about vaccines, provide vaccine information more regularly than doctor visits, and establish a place to easily get up-to-date information and answers to vaccine questions.
