Every Child By Two (ECBT) has launched the State of the ImmUnion initiative to examine how strong our defenses truly are against vaccine-preventable diseases and what we can do, as public health advocates and legislators, to make our ImmUnion stronger and more resilient in the face of emerging health threats. 2017 CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award Program Launched!

CDC and the CDC Foundation are happy to announce that the nomination materials for the 2017 CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award are ready! The CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award is an annual award that recognizes individuals who make a significant contribution toward improving public health through their work in childhood immunization. Each year, the CDC Childhood Immunization Champion honors up to one person from each of the 50 U.S. states, 8 U.S. Territories and Freely Associated States, and the District of Columbia.
